Run by Paul Morgan (front of house) and Sam Pryor (chef), this stylish wine bar, restaurant and wine shop is a worthy winner of this year’s Best Drinks List award.
Its globe-trotting wine list takes in old and new world vineyards and is helpfully split into styles from ‘crisp, brisk and refreshing’ to kick off the whites to ‘fuller bodied, richer, spice and oak’ to end the reds. There is also plenty of choice by the glass and lesser known countries and regions are well represented.
The restaurant also has a fantastic list of cocktails, beers, ciders, digestifs and non-alcoholic options, plus one of the best sherry selections in the country.
