We want your nominations
for Brighton’s Best Restaurants 2026
They’re finally here! After much thought and planning, we’re delighted to be able to announce that Brighton’s Best Restaurants Awards 2026 is happening. And for the first time in our 10-year history, we’re asking you, yes you, to help us collate our list of the 30 best restaurants in Brighton.
It’s really easy, just follow this linkby Friday 19th June, fill out the form telling us where you enjoyed your three best meals in Brighton since January 2025, and our expert culinary panel, headed up by Brighton’s Best Restaurants founder and co-director Andy Lynes will do the rest. Your nominations will also be used to help build the new Brighton’s Best Restaurants guide and have a significant influence on which restaurants are invited to take part in OctoberBEST this year. If you have time, there’s space on the form for you to tell us about why you love your nominated places. We’d love to hear about what you think makes Brighton’s restaurant scene so exciting.
You can nominate any independent restaurant located within the Brighton and Hove city limits that offers dinner at least part of the week. It could be a pub, pizza joint or fine-dining restaurant, but daytime cafes that only open for breakfast and lunch will not be considered. Takeaways are also not eligible. To be clear, the restaurants cannot be part of a large national chain, although restaurant groups native to Brighton are eligible, and the restaurant must still be trading (sadly, we’ve lost a few since our last awards).
Anyone can use the link, so please feel free to spread it far and wide, but only subscribers to our newsletter Serving Up will be entered into the prize draw and be in the chance of winning a bundle of food and drink goodies worth over £200, including a Ridgeview Signature Trio gift pack of award-winning English sparkling wines, a Brighton Gin distillery tour for two, some fabulous charcuterie from Brighton-based Curing Rebels and three Phaidon cookbooks. We hope to add to that bundle, so stay tuned to our Instagram for more updates. If you’re not a subscriber, click here to sign up for free.
