BEST DRINKS LIST
FOURTH AND CHURCH
Winner
The globe-trotting wine list at this stylish wine bar and restaurant takes in old and new world vineyards, and is helpfully split into styles from ‘crisp, brisk and refreshing’ to kick off the whites to ‘fuller bodied, richer, spice and oak’ to end the reds. There is also plenty of choice by the glass and lesser known countries and regions are well represented.
The restaurant also has a fantastic list of cocktails, beers, ciders, digestifs and non-alcoholic options, plus one of the best sherry selections in the country.

THE FLINT HOUSE
Runner up
The Flint House is a very popular spot in Brighton, not least for its fabulous, fun drinks list. Martini fans rejoice, as here you can build-your-own, while the selection of margaritas, mezcal cocktails and premium tequilas will put a spring in your step. Thought and effort has gone into the non-alcoholic cocktails too, and the homemade sodas are a really nice touch. The wine list, while not the longest, is very user friendly and affordable, with a lot of interesting choices. A bottle of Ridgeview on the outdoor upper terrace is a Brighton summer must-do.
