BEST SUNDAY LUNCH
ALBERTA’S
Winner
You’ll find Alberta’s at the Windmill pub, a great spot to kick off a Sunday lunch with Jersey oysters, followed by classic roasts such as a charcoal-grilled sharing sirloin cooked on the bone, Sussex pork cuts (pork belly, croquettes and sausage) or a veggie pie.
The star of the Sunday menu is the whole local Southern-fried chicken, served with all the trimmings. Indulgent sides like barbecued cabbage with seaweed butter and chicken skin furikake are a must, as is the Viennetta affogato to round things off.

And if your table is up for a challenge, the Four Beast Feast is the one to order.
All platters come with seasonal sides, such as skillet roasted potatoes, cauliflower cheese purée, charred greens and wood-fired autumn veg.
